Picked up at a estate sale Lionel postwar Santa Fe freight Alcos 204 with boxes. Nice shape except motor was locked up from old lubricant. Cleaned and oiled, now runs like new.

Went back to the estate sale the second day and picked up the passenger cars for half price. Now have a original 1957 set #1586. Oddball set, Lionel finally makes SF freight locos but added passenger cars.

That’s beautiful!

I got a job 2 weeks ago and got my first paycheck yesterday, so I decided to treat myself for working my butt off for those 2 weeks. I bought this off Mario's Trains today. It should be here next week, most likely on Wednesday. Can't wait to try this out on my Legacy engine! I will post a video when I get around to that.

Uhhhhhhhh... I personally don't like mentioning where I work in a public online area, since I work for a small company. But I'm working as an Electrical technician/assembler.

Keep in mind that I spent the course of 6 months applying to any job that fit my experience, before I got accepted to work with the company I am currently working with. So your experience with finding a job might be different from mine. Just do what I did and you will eventually get one.

Got the new Union Pacific 1943 boxcar with LED lights and the UP 1943 caboose. The colors match well with the engine but my only complaint is the LED lights in the boxcar are not bright like I had anticipated. I am still overall happy with them both.IMG_20190314_142000IMG_20190314_141935IMG_20190314_142308IMG_20190314_142237

Beautiful cars, but LED lights in the boxcar?

The stars in the American flag have LED lights that glow. The car gets power from the track.

NS1975, I'm impressed!

Quiver me liver!

I saw a yard sale while walking my dog, and I found this for $2!

On the way home, I realized that it has two secret compartments, each with treasure inside.

When I got home, I discovered that it takes two AA batteries... For what?.SUNP0002SUNP0006SUNP0004.

..I installed the batteries, and it played a jaunty pirate's tune.

Needs clean-up and some touch-up paint, as well as some more action figures.
