Hi Ron, it broke off flush with the outside of where you insert it. It's all good I was able to get it drilled out with a 1/16th drill bit.

Thanks Dallas, it was easier then I thought it would be. I was thinking to heat it; but I used a magnet and found that it wasn’t metal. So I slowly moved it using flats and my fingers. It worked out ok.

A 2035 and 1656. These were originally donated to my club but were recently auctioned off since we honestly had too many "club trains" to give all of them equal running time. Originally I was just going for the 1656 but no one had bid on the 2035 by the end of the auction so I was able to pick it up too, and I'm glad I did as it's a neat little engine.
Another fish fry dinner at St. Joseph in Force Pa . .......just down the hill from Weedville Pa........and the VFM. Charlie ran it on his test track......and the rest is history.
..........fish dinners sure seem to be affected by inflation these days.
Not trains- but without the proper tools, how can we keep our little empires running.....
First up- after a post by GRJ about re-gauging Menards cars, I ordered a wheel puller from Frank at Timko's Repair Depot. Frank was super easy to work with didn't even want payment until I received the item.
If I'm going to start pulling wheels, then a digital caliper is required also (courtesy of HD).
Getting tired of rigging up stuff to test lighting circuits so a small project board was in order.
Finally- a clean soldering iron tip is a happy soldering iron tip.....
Going to put all of these to work soon.

The Weaver A unit runs really well. It's conventional of course. I tweaked it just like I do all my conventional locos: wire the motors in series, added digital sounds, cab figures, etc.
Access to this requires an OGR Forum Supporting Membership
