Thanks guys.  Not sure on what I will do with it.  One of the three I have is insulated for two rail the others are not.  I've thought about a large radius loop of Gargraves with an outside third rail and that would technically allow me to run anything, 2 rail, 3 rail in or outside.  It's something I have to figure out.  I also have a mess of Scalecraft  reefer cars, along with some Walthers, Railcraft, Lobaugh, and a few others.  One other thing, these loco's are about as heavy as a car battery.  I guess there is a reason some people call them Doorstops....

Here are the inner workings of the first one I got up against a Lionel Legacy K4 for comparison.

And this is the third ugly duckling.  I really need to slide on e of these into the short end of my project list.

Wow, I think most of us are still in the home made control center mode.  Very nice !

My Worlds Fair subway, and my new LIRR engine pulling Worlds Fair era cars. Must have gone through a time Tunnel!

Always loved the color on those World's Fair cars... Road them many times to from 42nd St. to the '64 - '65 Fair and Shea. Those were the days!!!

Is that Dashing Dan on the side of the LIRR cars???

Another tank car. The E33 has to haul something, and I figured I'd make a scale tank car consist. Have to make sure I can get at least one Conrail tank car in there.

Tank

Deuce;

Your layout must be like the Tardis... there is much more space to hide stuff underneath than what's visible topside!!! Nice tanker.

Would it help if I said I was planning for my expansion?

No? Yeah, figured.

who made the LIRR coaches? Everything I've seen is too long for my 027 curves.

Bob

These are Lionel o27. The couplers are really crappy and keep coming undone. I glued them shut out of frustration. But the cars go around that 031 loop well.

I wish MTH would put out a World's Fair set, with engine and cars and PSA sounds. I may have to buy that freight RS1 that's out there in World's Fair livery and just pretend it's running a passenger run.

Yep! Dashing Dan. The engine is the wrong period but the only LIRR MTH engine I could fine with passenger sounds. Everything else out there is freight. Hoping they come out with a World's Fair era passenger engine again soon.

Yeah, uhhh ...

I might have gotten a really good deal on an MTH premier Conrail 8000 gallon tank car, and an MTH Premier Conrail Bay Window caboose. Both should go well with my Conrail Chemical Car Consist. I think I want to get my hands on a Hooker 8000 gallon tank car. That will give me 5 tank cars and a caboose for the E33.

I may have also found a really good deal (half off) on a NIB MTH Rail King Main Street Passenger Station.

Based on your acquisition history, may I suggest beginning the expansion sooner rather than later???

I'm finally ready to admit I have a problem. It's so bad I'm looking to offload stuff already and I've barely started the hobby.

You're looking at this all wrong, Deuce. It's not a problem... it's just part of the circle of life. What comes around eventually needs to go around - to someone else!!!

Waiting on delivery  of two Lionel GG1s  that I put on lay-away about 9 months ago right after I moved. Finally paid it off. The .one I really wanted is a 2360  but to get it I had to take another newer model with electronics in it Forget the number and it will go for sale since I am not in to the electronic stuff.  Have no way of testing it either. Maybe the local club.  I will post it on the "for sale" site

I can attest to that!

I don't usually drink beer, but when I do, I drink Yuengling    One of the good points to living in NE Pennsylvania.

Nice score Bob... will you be installing a keg and tap???

No keg or tap

However- the beer cooler is only a few short steps from the layout. The single-malt is near by too.
