This afternoon there was a small tube in my mailbox from Mr. Muffin's trains in IN., far to small to be rolling stock or a new engine....what could it be....my interest was peaked.
Turned out to be a lovely bottle of smoke fluid, a mint holiday type, as a "thank you" for the business we've done with them this year.
They're not my local shop, but have become my go-to shop for excellent service, fast shipping, and great pricing for new trains. That "Santa" Steve will send along a little gift is just another example of the care they take in valuing their customers.
I strongly encourage you to add them to your list of great shops in this hobby, they're one of the best in the business, and you'll feel valued as customer -- something far to few businesses do these days.
What a Pleasant (and totally unexpected) Surprise! 
I'm not what you would call a "Big Spender" but what I do spend in the future will definitely go to Mr. Muffin first. 
In all my years dealing with various vendors I can honestly say that this is the first time I have received anything like this. 
It's little things like this that make a huge impact in my book!
