I sat down to open this thread and what do you know but this question was asked by Gunrunner in a previous thread.  https://ogrforum.ogaugerr.com/d...nt/12834039597355094   I didn't see an answer and really want to see if anyone has one so I'm putting this in its own thread.

I run primarily Legacy (v1.5) through a TPC 400 with 2 180 watt bricks.  I just acquired an MTH NS F7 DAP Executive set and wanted to try out DCS.   I have a Rev L TIU hooked up in passive mode (powered by a Z-500) and the DCS works wonderfully if I start the TPC with the CAB-2.  I was wondering if I could start up the TPC from the DCS so I defined it as a TMCC engine.  However, I can't get it to do anything from the DCS handheld.  Does anyone know if this is possible and if so what the command sequences are?

Hi Chris,

I gave a written explanation on the other thread, but as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words.  Here's how to set it up with just TMCC or Legacy.

Here's how to set it up with both TMCC and Legacy.  In this configuration you can control the TPC from a Cab-1, Cab-2, and the DCS remote.

Hope this helps.
