Hi I have 3 main lines with fast track. I am trying to hook up all my crossing signals all 2 wire using a separate transformer. How do I get them to operate using an isolated section..When I hook the power to the signal and ground to track, nothing happens. do I just run ground from transformer to the tack section also? or do I need to phase transformers…A little confused…Thanks JB

You have to run one side of the separate transformer to track common to complete the circuit. Then the circuit will be from the transformer through the signal, then to the insulated rail.  When a train completes the connection to the common track, the circuit will be complete back to the separate transformer and operate the signals.

Also, just for safety's sake, I'd make sure the transformers are in phase.
