I have track detection using NCE DCC AIU01, which allows the computer to know what tracks are occupied. These AIUs are stringed together and fed into the command station CS02. I am using Traincontroller Gold on my computer to run the system. This software knows where the trains are, and what blocks are occupied or free.
My question is, how do you get the DCC system (and software) to operate the trackside signals. The Traincontroller gold software knows the signalling rules, and uses them to automatically control trains. However, I cannot figure out what hardware I need, and how to wire the trackside signals to show what the computer already knows.
I have seen 2-rail DCC controlled layouts with signals, I just don't know how to apply this to my layout.
