Does anyone have at their fingertips the information on the electrical connectors used on these coil couplers? Have not researched it in any depth, but I have some couplers from a Legacy loco that clearly do not fit the ERR connectors. Are there 2 or 3 standard types, or is this a hopelessly jumbled situation?

The ERR coupler connectors are the JST-EH line of connectors. Here's the 2-pin one at Digkkey: http://www.digikey.com/product...2/455-1000-ND/527224
Obviously, you'll need the pins as well, they're listed at the bottom of the product page.
Some of the Lionel ones come with fairly long leads and the correct connectors. Do you have the crimp tool? I use the Engineer PA09 tool, it works well for those.
The PA09 crimp tool works for the 2.5mm, 2mm. and 1.5mm Lionel connectors, so I have TMCC and Legacy pretty well covered. I have a different crimp tool for the little 1.25mm connectors and the MTH 1mm connectors. The PA09 also works for the MTH 2mm connectors.
