Why would anybody film near a live railroad track? 

It may cost a lot more but you could always build a set of tracks on the back lot to film something.

There are tourist lines that would love to have the chance of having their railroad on film.

 

I guess it's like what Gilly posted; "You can't fix stupid not even with duct tape!"

 

I can add to this about seeing stupid stunts here in West Palm Beach FL.

I have seen a person running down the Tri-Rail tracks, he was between the two rails running down the center of the track.
