Found an amusing "glitch" in the Menards UP loco from the set and do we need a separate Menards forum folder now? | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Funny glitch (or maybe an Easter egg, but I doubt it) on the Menards UP 4694 from the set. If you hit the horn button and then immediately hit the bell button, the horn just stays on and never goes off. You can turn it off with another tap of the bell button OR if you tap the horn button again, the horn goes off, toots again, then rings the bell 5 times and then goes off. It's kinda funny IMHO.

Also, to the moderators: With Menards now selling sets, separate locos, track, rolling stock, buildings, etc, is it time to give them a separate topic on this forum like Lionel, MTH and Atlas have? I'm just putting this post in Traditional 3-Rail for lack of a better option.

Does it improve the horn sound? The horn sounds like a goose gargling kerosene.

Having never heard one doing that, I suppose that I still do not know what a Menard's diesel horn sounds like!

Sounds pretty deliberate, kinda' like it's entering some kind of configuration mode.
