Well hello everyone...its F.E.F. again, the end the first week of fall? @3rail- Great Amtrak loco. One question, when you say you posted a new video...where do you post it? @tnkMarx- a beautiful B&O switcher, what make is that? I see a Lionel pre-war tanker in the background. @Sitka - a "KLINE" big boy, well that's neat, never knew that KLINE made such an engine...really neat. @GG1 4877 - "what a nose" your right who doesn't love that one! @walt rapp - great pictures of your former layouts...love the "Heinz Pickle Car".
OK for me today, I am taking my inspiration from Fatman and his Hornby Silver Link. In my case, its a Brimtoy, "Silver Streak" also from the time of the Silver Jubilee of King George V and Queen Mary, 1935. Here from 1936 was the Brimtoy version of those famous celebratory trains in real life.
I do not have the full set as does Fatman nor do I even have the silver #2509 tender, but here is the "front end Friday" view of the locomotive.
Here are some side views , showing the name ..."Silver Streak"
Best wishes everyone. Hope you have a great weekend

All of videos and pictures are posted in the same folder as “front end Friday”. In “miscellaneous” and “pictures, videos”. Hope that helps.

Don-
The S2 switcher is a Lionel.
The tank car in the background is actually Marx.
Strap, does your 4 train go underground just below Yankee Stadium like the real one in Da Bronx?

Not yet, Coach. However, construction of that route is set to begin after retirement. I’ve always wanted to connect my elevated and subway lines. In the meantime, that 4 train is strangely running around on a mysterious elevated line somewhere in Queens.
Boy, Ben (BlueLineC4) must be at the controls of that 4 if it's in Queens.
OROBR ( Germany ) floor train ....
And a BIC cigarette lighter for scale
However being more traditional ...
A Pre-war 3501 Distler clockwork loco and tender ( Germany again)
