Have a good FEF!
I had to come up with something and the BNSF 5835 sitting on the siding waiting for the Pacific Amtrak to pass by on my old layout! It is going to have an extra-long wait as I am just starting to build a new train room in Missouri!

@PRRronbh Is yours a darker blue? I'm not familiar with all of the Blue Comet variations so I'm curious if it came in different shades.

Well forum friends I am away from home on vacation and away from my collection, so I have to peruse my photo archives for the right pictures. This is from a couple of years ago so if you have seen it I apologize. It is an American Flyer, (Chicago Flyer) type x from 1932. This was a wonderful era for Chicago flyer and you can see that by the amount of add on detail for piping and handrails. Note the handrails on the tender even. She is all diecast and quite a "heavy hauler" While not the "top of the line" in her day, she was clearly a premium offering from Flyer at the time.
Happy F.E.F. everyone Have a great weekend
Don
