I was at work yesterday at my firehouse and w/24 hrs to kill, i usually have time to scourer the whole forum, twice! And i knew i had seen that pic. I had told my wife about and then went to show her and I could not remember where i saw it. Its such an awesomely simple idea. So not realizing i had watched the preview i commenced to digging thru tons of threads, whew, im glad thats over. You have helped & inspired me more than you will ever know. Thanks again Jim!!!

Justin, Thank you for remembering that I made a post on using 6 inch Holiday tree ornaments from WalMart to make your own inexpensive storage tanks. Sometimes I feel my ideas are lost after posting but your recalling this one gives me a good fuzzy feeling that I helped a fellow forum member. I was thrilled that Alan has also writen about the idea in run 259 and I am looking forward to seeing his work. I have also used clothing "snaps" from JoAnn Fabrics to make valve shut off wheels.

Here is hopeing WalMart has these large 6 inch ornaments on sale again this season. With Alan's great article plus his photographs, I'm sure many readers will give it a try. It is a fairly easy project and produces impressive results. Great bang for the buck.
