I attended a train show and was interested in a K-Line GG-1. The engine was basically white with red decorations. Can anyone tell me the name for this engine? Shouldaa purchased it but passed on by; second trip around the show and it was gone!

I believe it also sings to you.

Instead of a horn it plays a few bars of God Bless America.
After K Line disappeared, this was also sold by RMT/O-Line Reproductions, so they are around if you want one. It's a great runner, especially if you re-wire the motors in series. Out of the box, it goes like a scalded ape, but wiring the motors in series really improves performance. I pull my Lionel Spirit of 76 set with it instead of the Lionel U36B. The matching caboose is also very well-done.
