Am resurrecting this locomotive and tender and have a wiring question. The unit in question was partially cannibalized with locomotive wiring severed and "E" unit missing. The tender appears to be fully intact with three wires (black, blue and brown) running from the circuit board to a three prong male connector. The female connector on the locomotive is missing.

There is a short blue wire connected to the locomotive field that I am assuming gets connected to the blue wire on the tender and I am assuming there should be a black wire from the "E" unit feeding the black wire on the tender. Am I correct so far? That leaves the brown wire, that I am guessing is associated with the chuffing feature. What is its connection point on the locomotive?

I came across the post titled "Need Advice on installation of Replacement Smoke Unit on Lionel #6-8100 MPC #746 Reissue" looking for a wiring diagram that would help me and noticed a reference to the 6-18003 by TRW,  with other informative information by ADCX . Based on their comments, I am sure they , or another member on this forum can help me.

Thank you, swede
