I've experienced trouble free operation from my BPC2 for at least 5 yrs.  I use 6 of the 8 available switches to control 6 power blocks.  Today, two of the blocks (switches)  would not respond. I fiddled with the connections to the BPC2 after I checked each relay using a multimeter. Ground on the outside rail then the power probe on each of the BPC2 terminals. As you would expect, the blocks that were powered showed correct track voltage at each terminal. The terminals to which the two dead power blocks were connected showed no voltage.  I removed and replaced the wire in the terminals of the non-working switches...didn't help.  I have moved the wires from the dead terminals  to the 2 remaining working switches and now all the power blocks receive power.  Is it possible for relays in the BCP2 to fail individually?  I haven't reprogrammed the BPC2 since I have it working, but, should I try, or is it as simple as those 2 switches are dead and I should just move on?  Oh, I should mention, the non-working switches are in separate power blocks on the BPC2 each supplied by a different comm (powe) input.  Also, I noticed the BPC2 is warm when turned on and I can't recall if that is new or it's always been that way.  The other Legacy System modules are cool to the touch.

UPDATE:  I use a PW ZW for accessories to include powering my LCS modules. The mistake I made was powering those modules using the A terminal. Although I checked power at the output BPC2 terminals 1-4 and 5-8, and confirmed the output was correct at 18v. I failed to check the voltage powering the module (relays). Today another relay failed. Then it hit me...check the voltage powering the module. It’s supposed to be 12-14. My reading: 18+v!!!  At some point I must have moved the ZW’s handle.  I guess I fried those relays. GWEEDO, maybe that’s what happened to you?  New BPC2 ordered. It will be powered using B on the ZW! A costly lesson learned.

Could be as some of the SC-2's  were connected to switches so didn't use the supplied power pack. Was powered off whatever power was going to switch track off ZW.  Could well have been over 14 volts. Thank You will have to check it out.
