OK, but then I just need to buy DCS and the cable and is ready!

In TIU so I just turn on the cable with MTH legacy?

I think that page "may" have an error, I was led to believe the only cable that worked properly with the Legacy <-> TIU connection was the MTH 50-1032.  Pretty sure it was Barry that told me that.

Obviously, you have to wire the TIU to the tracks, and if you're not running it in passive mode, you also need to move the transformer connection(s) to the input connections of the TIU.

There's no error and I didn't tell you that. It's a little known fact that the original cable, which was a poor performer with TMCC, works fine with Legacy.

Someone told me that, sorry to blame it on you.  That's interesting, another little data point.  You're right about it being a little known fact.

Correct - almost. You should also purchase a copy of The DCS O Gauge Companion 2nd Edition!

No, there's nothing else to do once you've attached the cable. Just add engines and go!

Barry, Thank you!

As I only locomotives Legacy I'd like to put the DCS system independent because at the beginning I did not use to control TMCC's.

In his book on page 116 (10. TIU Passive Mode of Operation) you explain this operation. So I connect the TIU in passive mode?

For now my doubt is how to connect the two separately, and how to connect the TIU.

Sorry but I read the whole chapter VI - 120 and did not find this information you connect systems separate and independent.

Thank you again!

To connect them separately, just do so according to the Legacy and DCS connection instructions.

So I connect the TIU in passive mode?

Only if you need to run more than 10 amps/channel through the TIU.

Barry, thanks you again !

The drawing is correct?
