Is the powerhouse more for conventional or tmc? Currently don't have any tmc but do have a conventiol steam loco with railsounds and box car with diesel railsounds as well as williams loco with horn. Current power is a postwar zw also running prewar trains. Found it complete in box for $130

Run total conventional, and currently have this transf. running,

MTH - Penn Central e44, N-8 Caboose, hooked to NH e33, and a 12 scale

cylindrical hopper consist. Just fine !!

This transformer can have issues with MTH PS1 and some other engines that have QSI systems in them. The transformer controller puts out a chopped sine wave that causes the horn or whistle to blow constantly and the engines shut down. With MTH PS2 engines the sound systems shut down but the engines operate.
