Lionel 225E Headlight Question

I just picked up a very nice 1939 Lionel 225E freight set which runs great. The only issue I noticed was that the headlight was not working. When I opened up the hinged boiler front there was no bulb, no bulb socket, or wire. I looked at Olsen's part diagram for the 225E but it does not list a light bracket/socket. After some more web browsing it appears that it uses a 78-78 brass screw type lamp socket but it seems like there must be some sort of bracket that attaches the socket to the boiler. If I could see a picture or a 225E with the boiler front open it may solve the mystery. Thanks!

225E inner headlight Edit: Found this picture on the net, the brass socket is riveted to the interior of the boiler shell directly behind the headlight. If the socket is gone, there should be a hole for the rivet.

Thanks Dennis! Do you think that there is some kind of bracket attached the socket that is in turn riveted to the boiler? If I recall, I have a 3/16" (approx.) hole with two square notches 180 degrees apart where I think the socket would attach.

I went downstairs and snapped a couple pics of a junker 225E shell. It looks like the bilb socket is riveted directly to the shell, no bracket.
