Added a 445 Switch Tower to the layout.  Tried to sell some "old" items for a friend last year, no luck.

So I bought some missing pieces (roof, 2-3 more parts) from the Traintender, put the 445 together and oiled some places but not sure oil was added to all the places that needed oil.

The light turns on and off as the engine passes, assume this is correct.

The tower makes a LOT of noise but works.  Is there some way yo lower the noise and is the bulb working correctly.

All comments appreciated.

Right. Light on constantly. Movement of the train should trigger the action of the "man going out and down the stairs."

Easiest method is use an insulated track section. The wiring is as follows: 1 and 3 posts to power and common. The 2 post wire should go to the insulated side of the track piece.

Have had mine set up this way for years and works every time.
