We'll have another one to add to your Lionel UP thread!

Holy smoke, now that is a train!  This man loves big trans!  Nick, we need pictures, I am sure it is beautiful.  Love GGD stuff.

I'm sure with the street price coming in where it did -- i.e., not really making things too painful for those who pretty much expected the $2K price-point (I thought it would be higher) -- there will definitely be some who order two, perhaps more.

David

A little surprised (in a pleasant way) at the price also.  Will look nice next to a certain grey VL Challenger.  You know the ONE.

I have arranged to pick it up at this coming York. Simply WAY too much train to entrust to the gorillas commonly employed by shipping companies...

Here are the seller's photos. This is what I expect when plunking down that much hard-earned dough:

Lightning Stripe Observation Car

Here is a photo of Brian's (Passenger Train Collector's) set to illustrate its length. This is without the diesels to boot:

Beautiful train; good luck.

I'm a big fan of the GGD cars.  I have the 10 car set for the Southern Pacific Daylight

I'm in, waiting for the best deal.  Probably a combination of price and shipping will get my business.

I can't tell you all how excited I am about this engine.  To me, it doesn't matter about profit margins or deposits.

It is simple-the first time you hear that whistle cut through your soul, the smoke starts pouring out of it, and the beast starts moving, I won't be thinking about how much I spent.

And, I already own 2 Lionel Big Boys.  Make that soon to be 3!
