Had them since September running well today front truck on the powered a unit locked up same with the powerd b unit they did this one time but no big deal took the truck off and unjammed the lock up bye turning the wheels today they simply jammed up hard to turn the wheels other trucks are fine they are under warranty but wanted to see if this has happend to any of the members 20190209_18243720190209_18245020190209_182453

What's the root cause of the problem?  I've read before that on some Lionel diesels the wheels are gauged too wide, and the side-to-side play allows the gears to disengage or jam.  Is that what's happening with yours?  If you post a photo of the underside of the offending truck, especially one showing how much side-to-side play there is, we might be able to help you.

Also- if you remove the shell and turn the flywheel by hand, does it turn without resistance through one full rotation of the wheels?  Is the motor "loose" on the truck?  Just trying to eliminate the usual suspects.

The units we have it isn't out of gauge wheels, there is so much side to side slop of the axle in the truck block the gear on it can actually almost completely come out of meshing with the drive gears and they jam. Terrible QC.

I'm sure it was Gun Runner John who had the solution of using the plastic bread wrapper tie clip and sliding it on opposite side of the axle to reduce the movement.

If you have the skill, why not (carefully and with proper padding!) squeeze the wheels in a vise and restore them to the proper gauge?  Is the axle "shouldered," or too long?

If you're willing to spend money, I suppose you could also order another truck block from Lionel.  Sad that you would have to do that!
