Lionel switches 5132 & 5133: Track curve questions

Don't know any specifics of the switches in question. 

The one major concern in track planning is knowing the number of degrees of the turnout. You need 360 degrees to make a circle. 

If 8 pieces of curve track makes a circle, each piece of that track accounts for 45 degrees of that circle.

Clearly there is more to it than that.

I don't recommend it that's awfully tight. You could try it but it sounds a little to small. i have O-72 curves.

Those switches are only 14.14" radius, so they would be the limiting factor in what you could run.

The switches you mention are Lionel 031 curved switches with a straight track as well.

Maybe you can find some 042 or 054 switches that will work with your curved track better. I like 042 curves better then 031 as longer freight cars can go through 042 switches.
