Good evening, to the forum.
I am looking for a forum member that performs engine repairs.
I have a half dozen or so MTH engines that are in need of repairs.
It is mostly traction tires and some smoke units, but one steamer needs control system repairs and another steamer an upgrade to PS2 or PS3.
I am looking for someone who will provide contact information and perhaps forward a price list.

George is your man, he has worked on mine and several engines of a friend. His work is outstanding and his prices are more than fair. Best part is you won't have to wait 1 or 2 months to get it back either.

GunrunnerJohn is excellent and highly skilled. From all that I've heard, when he does a job there's no doubt whatsoever it's done correctly. Very thorough, fixed the first time every time. If the big manufacturers insisted on the level of quality control Gunrunnerjohn sets himself to there would likely be less need for repair experts such as him, Marty F, Alex M. et al.

I vote for George, I'd kinda' backed up right now, so that mention of waiting a month or two applies to anything I'd do. 
Bill, The guys mentioned are good but are you aware that Gardiner The Train Doctor (AKA Gargraves) also works on MTH. Most of what you need done is very simple. Save the shipping and take a ride out and talk to Tom before sending it out.
