I received Herman's Sauerkraut Factory from Menard yesterday. There are two male plugs, one on the back and one underneath to connect power for lights. However, there was no female connector provided. Was there suppose to be? If not, what kind/size female connector do I need? No instructions provided.

The 4.5 Volt power adapter is not included with the building and is a separate sale item. Menards offers an adapter to power a single building for $8 and one to power up to 3 buildings for $10.
There are two power input ports on your building so you can either power it up from the bottom for those who want to hide wiring and have access through the bottom of their train table and one on the side for those who have their building surface mounted.

I purchased a Herman's Sauerkraut Factory at local Menards and also the 4.5V power supply. The large sign display failed in about one minute so I took it back to the store and exchanged it for another. The 2nd unit worked correctly for about 20 minutes before failing just like the first. Menards gave me a full refund. Has anyone else had similar issues?
Mine works fine. Wondering if the 4.5 power supply is the problem? Just a thought!
My sign is dying after only six months. I have the 4.5 volt power supply also and just tested it and it is putting out 5.3 volts. Does anyone know if the sign can be fixed or am I out of luck?
Is your Sign. what type light is it using or is it Led's ?
The transformer always start out with a higher power until you add a load.
