MTH #30-89002 3 Rail Roller Bearing Freight Car Trucks (2)

I have a Lionel Box car the trucks screw in from the bottom and a Lionel Tanker that the trucks that screw in from the top. I keep having coupler issues with these particular cars and have been thinking of up grading the trucks. Would like to find trucks with real springs and brakes to look more realistic. I was thinking of trying the MTH #30-89002 trucks. My first question is will these trucks fit Lionel freight cars? Or, does anyone have a better suggestion for replacement trucks that are more realistic and reliable than the basic trucks currently on my cars? Your comments and suggestions are appreciated...
