MTH Steam Loco Curly Tether

PRSL PeteOGR Forum Member

I have seen the curly tether replaced with a straght tether from an MTH diesel locomotive, but it is my understanding that some wiring and tender modifications are necessary. Does anyone know if there is a "plug and play" solution which requires little (or no) modification?
