Need some parts for one MTH 4-6-2 USRA

Best bet would be to find matching material and fabricate the walkway treads, I doubt those are a stock part.

Separate walkways have always been a problem falling off after the cement they use at the factory fails. Probably the only fix is going to be if the seller can't find them is clean off the old cement and paint the walkway the red/maroon color as close as you can match. I can guarantee MTH is not going to have those parts.

A couple of years ago,   I had the exact same problem with an MTH premier 4-8-2- a couple of missing walkway tread pieces.    Both GRJ and Chuck are correct.    I contacted MTH at the time and was told that those pieces were not available separately,  but if they had a replacement boiler shell available that I could send in my damaged shell and they would sell me a new shell(my engine was not new-it was used and well out of warranty).   I passed and ended up selling the engine.      If you want the walkway tread,  there are a couple of companies that make brass sheet of different thickness with different tread designs either etched or stamped into the material.   You would need to cut the material  to fit the shape of the missing pieces and paint them to match and then glue them in place with small amounts of something like super glue,   gorilla glue,  jb weld,  etc.  For the life of me,   I can't remember the company names who sell this material.   Maybe the 2 rail guys or the scratchbuilders here can chime in with the company names.

Gluing this down seems tailor made for Walther's Goo, that works great for stuff like this.  You have to be careful applying it, it's very messy, but the walkway won't come off again!

Looks great, obviously you don't need the parts any longer.

I just saw this thread. In the future you can get diamond plate decking from Precision Scale. They have about 6 patterns in three different thicknesses including .025", .020", and .012". For this I would use .012".

The deck below was made using .025".
