The tray was in the CC Berkshire Freight set. Also ERR makes a board that can be installed allowing you to unload the cartons anywhere on your layout with the CAB1/Legacy Remote

That would be the ERR Mini Commander (ACC) board.  I have a number of operating cars equipped with TMCC.

Yes, I had been waiting for it to become available separately since I didn't have the $$$ for the Berkshire set.

Neat info on the board, unfortunately, my layout is strictly conventional.  I haven't joined the 21st century yet with regards to all the electronic controls.  Someday, maybe!

After having the car for only a month it stopped working yesterday . Any suggestions besides Gunrunner's .   Tom

Still in warranty, I would contact the vendor.

Before anything else, clean track and rollers. It may just not be getting enough power.

It's listed under Milk Car and includes a roller pickup. There should be sufficient room to install the board inside the car.

Actually, the milk car kit is the high current version for high current coils.  You don't need that for this application.  Also, the roller pickup is for the old PW trucks, do these cars have modern trucks or would the roller work on them?  In any case, it's cheaper to buy the ACC version and the roller pickup.  I also equip any car I do with dual pickups for higher reliability.

I got some "superflex" wire and I am going to replace the factory wire with it.

Bradfish got the truck off only a screw thankfully not a rivet . Where did you get the superflex wire ?    Tom

The car is plastic.  The side doors are metal.

I'm pretty sure that the doors on mine are plastic too.

I initially thought the doors on my separate sale car were plastic but when a few folks insisted they were metal I tried this test. Hold the car on end and let the non operating door fall under gravity. You can feel the weight of the door is heavier than a plastic door.
