some are Artista ( gent in wheel chair and person pushing ) others are Model Power and others I picked up for a song and dance at train shows.

How do you keep your snow looking so clean ?      Even after about 6 weeks of our PE layout for Christmas the snow looks a little off color.  😝

This is a very old iteration of our layout before it became permanent. Originally, we began assembling in early November for Christmas. The snow does discolor. This may be a photo not long after the completion of the layout. We used new snow (quilt batting from a fabric store) each year. I am sorry. I have no magic formula.

We use powdered snow on the club layout that is up for about 6 weeks. We have one member we call snowman because that’s his job. Every year I have to tell him to keep the snow out of the EZ streets track. No Virginia there will not be a Santa Claus or a layout this year.

I guess I'll go with pine tree ( I feel like a retail store: It's not even Halloween yet and here's a Christmas tree - sorry.  lol)
