I have an mth z-controller with throttle issues. it will not com e off of full throttle turning the throttle does nothing to help. What can I do?

Unplug it, wait a few minutes and try again. If the problem persists, then it may be faulty and needs repair.

I've had a couple of touchy controllers. I have the opposite problem....erratic response when increasing speed. Not sure if they are repairable.

No matter what I do it won't come of full throttle. It doesn't matter where the throttle is it has to be something inside.
Have you opened it up. I had 2 of them that the connections on the back were loose. Turn it over, take out the 4 corner screws and take a look. It only takes a minute or 2.
There MAY be an easy adjustment.
Order a new thumb wheel from MTH if all else fails. The DCS controller has the same problem and that was the only fix they had for it.
