Yes, hold the bell for 3 seconds- while running/moving, and you'll activate the PFA (Passenger or Freight Announcement) sequence.

Provided your engine has it. What engine so we can look up the manual?

Here is one example of the instructions https://ogrforum.ogaugerr.com/...140#8187868232528140

"

To activate PS-1 station sounds, hold the bell button down until a bell (DING) sounds. Then release the button. The locomotive will run normally. Reduce voltage to stop at a station. Keep reducing it until the voltage is off (zero). Turn it on again to 9 or 10 volts. Wait a bit for station sounds to start. A recording of a PA system will announce the arrival of the train. Use the Direction control to cycle through Reverse and Neutral. The locomotive won't move. Different sounds will play. Use the Direction control once more to put the locomotive in Forward. A conductor will call, "All ABOARD!" The whistle/horn will blow twice, the bell will ring, and the locomotive will move forward. If not, increase track voltage until it moves. When the bell stops ringing, the station sounds sequence has ended."

Again, here's the basic point, you need the manual specific to your engine because you are effectively running in conventional. So, you follow the conventional controls and instructions listed in the manual- the only difference is the button might be remote but the engine doesn't know that.

In other words, if you can do it from the transformer with bell, whistle, direction buttons, and throttle, then you can do it with a powermaster and remote.
