F3s and similar diesels are certainly handsome locomotives, and the modern ones like MTH Proto 3 running on DCS are great pullers and operate flawlessly in my experience.

So here are the rest of mine.

All nice units, Coach! I can't help but notice the "tail end" of your Blue Goose, too!

Good eye Bill.  It's Williams' rendition of the Blue Goose.  That is to say it's a J 4-8-4 wearing Blue Goose livery not an actual 4-6-4 Blue Goose model.  I really liked the paint scheme and thought the J looked really good wearing it.  Being a Williams the price fit the budget for an impulse buy.  I'm not 100% sure but I believe I actually bought it before MTH or Lionel came out with proper models of ATSF 3460.

Right there with you Mark! I just plunked down some change on a Celebration series NH F3 A and B set.

A review of the previous 5 pages of this topic showed dozens of Lionel and a few other F3 -F7 but no Marx F3s so I am fixing that slight below.  The Marx 1095 F3 has been to be one of highest volume produced F3 ever.  They are everywhere, so now they are here.

Two sets of Marx 1095 F3 Santa Fe diesels were found and one set was repainted as the grey plastic and red paint is not very well done (this set was ABA).  I was fortunate to pick up some O gauge Santa Fe decals at a train show.

Hi there Mario,

I think they came with the engines - these are late production K-Line with quite a bit of nice detailing.

Arnold, I'm with C Sam, thought you would have it playing in the background.  One question, is that a switch lantern or a spotlight right underneath the plumbing trap?

Frank, I spent 10 years in Massapequa and 20 in The Park before moving to Myrtle Beach.  Which Club layout is that in your pictures?  Also what 25th Anniversary Edition F# is this? And what color is it?

Coach Joe,  I've been a member of TMB since 1997 when we had our first layout in Bablyon on Rte 109.  We left that location for another site, also on Rte 109.  When our lease was up, we then moved to a Farmingdale site on Schmitt's Blvd.  Last January, we were asked to leave so we had to disassemble the layout.  We now have a new location in Deer Park and hope to have our first open house by Thanksgiving, 2024.

THe above RailKing F3 was issued by MTH for their 25th Anniversary.  It came as a ABA set in MTH purple and yellow and with a set of five passenger cars.  see below;

@FrankRazz that set does have sharp colors!  Congratulations on your upcoming first open house in the new location!

Frank, I almost joined TMB when it was in that first location.  I met a member named Ralph, who was selling new MTH trains out of the T&T Depot (Gunnery) in Seaford.  He told me about the club and I visited one Friday. Track work was still ongoing and I don't believe there was any scenery yet.  If there was it wasn't very much.  at that time there were limited spots in the club and with infant twins at home I didn't think that I could commit the time necessary for the work meetings and the run nights so I didn't want to take up a spot.

Sad to hear that the club has had to move yet again.

That purple does look sharp on those F3s.  I wasn't thinking purple and thought it was the lighting that was making it hard to tell if it was red or blue.

@FrankRazz- Well I don't know what "TMB" means but I am with coach joe and Mark Boyce and likely others in admiring that MTH F3 Anniversary set.  The color scheme, although a "fantasy" scheme as it has been called in other places, is striking!!

When we were at our first two locations, we used Trainmasters of Bablyon.  When we moved to Farmingdale, we just used TMB to avoid confusion on our location.  Now that we are building in Deer Park, TMB will stay.

Coach Joe, T&T, I forgot about that store.  It was a gun store with trains.. 

To keep with the theme of this post, here's another of my F unit, a Lionel Milwaukee Road E7. Excuse the poor quaility of the picture, it was suppse to be a video but I was having trouble uploading the video.

Hey I just checked my prior inputs and found I had neglected these two - both Marx E7's.

First the classic Santa Fe #1095, this shot an AA view but I have the B unit as well.  This loco available from 1950-1954

The second E7 I have, I completely overlooked the Western Pacific ABA available from 1956-1960

The MR is a repaint by Andy Kriswalus probably in the 70s. It was given to me by my late friend's family.

SF ABA former Chrome Burlington with a cracked nose. I had a set of Burlingtons; but I didn't have a SF at the time. Elliott Welz did a nice job.
