thanks for the kind invitation. If I can sneak out I would love to visit; however, this year I will only be able to spend one week at our place in Chatham due to work. My wife and kids are there the whole month of August. Poor Daddy. And the week I will be there is already full of fun things: replacing shingles, painting shutters, replacing outdoor shower and a whole bunch of other honey-do chores.
This is my "vacation"!!!

You said you'all will be here at 8 but you didn't say AM or PM. Need to know. The wife makes killer cinnamon french toast if it's AM. If it's PM, I will need to go out on the bay and catch lobster and scallops. You don't scare me you big teddy bear!

We may be out on Martha's Vineyard that same week. I could take the ferry over and drive down one day. We should coordinate! Descend on Al all at once!
