This one is classic! Truely, they were wrapped in bubble and nothing more than brown paper! I think I’m lucky the USPS choose to shrink wrap it once it started to disintegrate! If these cars would have been nice I would have been fuming!

That still isn't the best of the worst packing jobs I've seen... But sad.
I've seen boxes resembling large "medicine balls"; stuffed solid with file cards till the flaps and corners bulged round; wrapped water tight with tape. It looks kinda like that rep. got a little better and works at the post office though 
Amazon packed two lamp fixtures with glass globes that they sent me (in separate oversize boxes) without any internal cushioning. No peanuts, no foam, no bubble wrap, no bubble pack, nothing... Needless to say, UPS decided to drop each of them on their end separately on my concrete doorstep for delivery. The manufacturer packing had a very thin piece of foam around the fixture. The internal box freely moved a full foot inside the Amazon box. Long story short, each fixture had five glass domes. Two shattered in each. I consolidated the globes and got one working fixture. Before I sent the other one back, I waited for the replacement to arrive, which was packed the same way and had a broken globe. I used the one globe I had left to get one more working fixture and sent the mess back. It was like playing Frogger!

John, good point but if the guy printed the label and then just dropped it in the drop box.... you’d still think someone would have noticed lol. Well like I said, I’d have been a lot more upset if it were “new” cars! 😂
I guess it just depends on the level of give a darn for each individual that it passed through the hands of. Like I said, someone somewhere shrink wrapped it and it wasn't the seller I don't think. I agree, it isn't right, and shouldn't happen, but it did!
I hope you teach this seller a lesson and give him a negative review for bad packing... bubble wrap surrounded by a paper bag

I got a K-Line train set wrapped that way a few years ago.
Box was wrapped in very used bubble wrap,brown paper and lots of masking tape.
Actually came undamaged.
I also did get a very good deal on the set,but was blown away at the sellers attempt of packaging.
This is how I received my 400e...
The box was roughly 3' tall & long by 2' wide. 0 packing material.
I am still unsure of the thought process behind this shipping method.
