I am speaking on behalf of the Monmouth Museum in Lincroft, NJ.
The Monmouth Museum is a small museum on the Brookdale Community College Campus. It is normally used year round as an art gallery and a children's museum to promote education. Once a year around the winter holidays, they hold a Holiday Tree and Train Exhibit that is a local favorite, especially to the children. There are normally two layouts displayed: a LGB layout with one train that goes around on a dogbone, and a large O Gauge Layout that runs 6 trains at the same time all day for 6 days a week. These layouts have been loved by children for over 9 years.
Now, the museum wants to rebuild and refurbish the O Gauge Layout to a more profession level of quality, and is taking a collection of donations to gain enough money to do this task. ANY dollar amount is appreciated. If you want to know how, go to www.monmouthmuseum.org.
This layout will not be up this year, but is schedule to at the end of 2014, when we have an ALL TRAIN EXHIBIT with the O Gauge Layout as the centerpiece.
