I have a 6-28254, sd-90. I pulled the17186644314496310802269980643995 connector  so l could test speakers. Both speaker wires were loose and came right out of the connector. Before l put them back in, l need to know which should be positive, or does it matter? It's the first 2 positions, to the left of the black wire. Thank you, Chris.

It really doesn’t matter with these tiny speakers. The voice coil is isolated from the frame so no chance of shorting. On a large bass speaker it does make a slight difference. With the correct polarity the cone moves out when a positive voltage is on the plus terminal. It accentuates the attack of a bass note.

The other time it makes a difference is when you have a pair of speakers connected together. You want them moving in the same direction at the same time.
