Using a UCS track with DCC

Hi,

My plan is to wire up a UCS track with an independent AC power source and have DCC wired to the middle (hot) and outside rails (ground) of 3rail track connected to it. Has anyone tried using a UCS track in a DCC layout? Would there be an issue with connecting the grounds of each power source?
