Friends,

I am looking forward to going to Trainstock on Saturday as I get to see many of my train friends! It's one of the best train days of the year. And, its now less than two days away.

Who else is looking forward to going, checking out the NJ Highrailers layout, talkng with your friends, and eating Vinny and Co's great eats?

To my friends who do not go, YOU WILL BE SUED!

Got to support our local guys.  The Great Lakes Div TCA has a show here in Cleveland on Saturday, Jan 18.  I will have a table there and I generally do fairly well at these shows.  I know it's not the biggest show around but it does bring in both TCA members as well as the general public, (after 10:00A) and usually someone will find something they just can't live without on my table.

Our chance for a public show with all the big guys there, lots of publicity, etc. took place the weekend before last when the World's Greatest Hobby boys were in town.  MTH, Lionel and others were there and I managed to drop over $100 bucks without trying too hard.

I look forward to it all year but.... Between a couple of broken ribs from a fall on the ice at work 2 weeks ago and a water pipe break "In the train room" the very next night! I have to get myself and my happy place put back together.   Have a great time guy's! Wish I could be there but I'm hoping to make Springfield.  I still need a Trainstock hat for my collection.

Hey Chris

John beat me to it, we'll make sure you get a hat.

Real sorry to hear about your ribs and the water pipe break - that stinks. Hope your able to make Springfield. I'm a little under the weather but MJ and I will make it tomorrow although we won't be able to stay too late.

Erol, on advice from my attorney I will be there - camera in hand.

Pete, do you still have York Fever year round?

Marty, I have to give the Patriots credit, they are playing very well. As for Teds Jets and Mikes Dolphins (and my Giants) ...you just wait till next year

Drive safe everyone, and a huge thank you to Team Trainstock for all the prep that goes into making this happen. Youse guys are great.

I certainly plan to be there. I'm doing last minute repairs tonight on the tethers linking the 40-Car Rampage switchers (three of them this time) and hooking up a new mini-camcorder on its own Industrial Rail ore car.

Hopefully I can get a guest slot earlier in the day as this unusual train seems to attract quite a bit of attention. Maybe videos of it (other than my own) will show up on YouTube.

What's Trainstock??? Just kidding!

This weekend is shaping up to be just like Christmas!

Sat-Trainstock and then the Flyers/Islanders game in Philly that evening

Sun - World's Greatest Hobby on Tour (yes, I'll get there by 9:00 am)

Mon - Cradle of Aviation Museum from 9:30 am to noon, then Flyers/Islanders at 1:00 in NY

Trains and Flyers---great combination!!! Go Flyers!!! Go Trains!!
