I am looking forward to going to Trainstock on Saturday as I get to see many of my train friends! It's one of the best train days of the year. And, its now less than two days away.
Who else is looking forward to going, checking out the NJ Highrailers layout, talkng with your friends, and eating Vinny and Co's great eats?
To my friends who do not go, YOU WILL BE SUED!

Erol...as Tom said above, we're leaving on a RC3R road trip tomorrow afternoon and will be staying overnight in So Jersey so we can make the opening bell!!!!
Looking forward to it! I can taste the lasagna and sausage as we speak!

Got to support our local guys. The Great Lakes Div TCA has a show here in Cleveland on Saturday, Jan 18. I will have a table there and I generally do fairly well at these shows. I know it's not the biggest show around but it does bring in both TCA members as well as the general public, (after 10:00A) and usually someone will find something they just can't live without on my table.
Our chance for a public show with all the big guys there, lots of publicity, etc. took place the weekend before last when the World's Greatest Hobby boys were in town. MTH, Lionel and others were there and I managed to drop over $100 bucks without trying too hard.

Ted, I have already wound Mike up and you are next. On a serious note, it will be great to see you and all my friends. I have my new winning Patriots shirt to bring. Trainstock is a great time with great people.

I look forward to it all year but.... Between a couple of broken ribs from a fall on the ice at work 2 weeks ago and a water pipe break "In the train room" the very next night! I have to get myself and my happy place put back together.

RMT Club #1 (is it still in business?)
I certainly plan to be there. I'm doing last minute repairs tonight on the tethers linking the 40-Car Rampage switchers (three of them this time) and hooking up a new mini-camcorder on its own Industrial Rail ore car.
Hopefully I can get a guest slot earlier in the day as this unusual train seems to attract quite a bit of attention. Maybe videos of it (other than my own) will show up on YouTube.

I would love to be there but Since the budget is limited I can't do that and the Big E.
Since 2 friends are going to the Big E we will carpool and save all of us money.
Why are all the really good New England Train Events in January???
I would love to be there BUT I am going to the WGHT in OAKS Pa. in an hour to set up the LCCA BOOTH. Working both days at the booth.
We will have some great items for sale at good PRICES.

Sun - World's Greatest Hobby on Tour (yes, I'll get there by 9:00 am)
Mon - Cradle of Aviation Museum from 9:30 am to noon, then Flyers/Islanders at 1:00 in NY
Trains and Flyers---great combination!!! Go Flyers!!! Go Trains!!

Just remember guys follow the directions on our web site. If you follow your GPS you'll wind up going through downtown Paterson and a lot of trafic. Have a safe trip.

Gilly@N&W and I got up regular time at 0430 and we've been breakfasting at the Hampton Inn in Pennsville NJ waiting for the rest of the group. We'll be on the road at 0730.
