3rd Rail did the definitive 3 rail model of this.  Perhaps one could lobby for second run of Mollies?

I brought this up in a post last year, Scott didn't take the bait on it though...

Perhaps there is now renewed interest with Lionel's rendition of 90. It seems to have been a massive hit with a lot of orders, maybe Scott can build off this momentum.

Do I dare tag him in my post here???

i hope i got everything squared away

i won't survive a lawsuit thats for sure

Anything prototypical that's Western Maryland or B&O. I've got all the PRR I need, and I'd like to see a few more of the Maryland 1950s class 1s.

If it's something like the Potomac not previously done, all the better. On that, expensive as it would be, I'd grab all the road numbers that Lionel did, other than any fantasy schemes.

Who has the molds, rights, etc. to the MTH 2-8-0 H9?

I'd like to see a reissue with TMCC/Legacy.

Dave

I'm crossing my fingers MTH still has that one - their new and much improved steaming whistle feature would look quite nice on those H-9s. The new MTH Berks and Pacifics steaming whistles with the steam plumbed through the whistles themselves sure put my Lionel steaming whistles to shame.

My wish is for a run of 86 foot 8 door auto parts boxcars in UP Building America slogan, with SP reporting marks,  Grand Trunk Western as delivered in 1969 lettering (no Good Track Road slogan) and with a correctly done GT wet noodle.   Maybe even a CSX repaint 8 door car as well.  It still befuddles me that in todays world, with all the info. on the internet, that the geniuses at Lionel still cannot get a paint job and  logo correct!    The last run of these cars they screwed up the CN wet noodle on the 4 door car.    If Lionel cannot do this correctly, perhaps they could run these cars assembled but un painted, and let us modelers decorate the cars to our liking!   Maybe they need to get their QC people to watch more closely what the factory in China is putting out!     This is my wish.........................

A scale Milwaukee Road Hiawatha #3 4-4-2 with Legacy. Yeah, I know that they produced the 6-38094, but that was close to 20 years ago, pre-Legacy, and they very sparingly surface at auction. I imagine this would be pretty easy to produce from existing tooling.

As far as something that would require new tooling, I’d buy a Siemens Charger set in the new Canada Via Rail livery, and as far as completely wishful thinking, I’ve always hoped that someone would will produce an O Scale Amtrak RTG Turboliner (dream on, I know).

The first Grand Trunk Western 8-door high-cube 86' boxcars were built in 1965 and 1967. They were blue with aluminum colored doors. There are many photos on the Canadian Freight Car Gallery website in the Grand Trunk Western section.

The CN wet noodle logo was not screwed up. It was the correct CN logo for that series of 86' box cars. There are many variations of paint schemes applied to CN 86' box cars. You can check the CN photos at rr-fallenflags.org. The CN logo was correct for that specific number series.

If you want them to produce another CN 4-door 86' boxcar, you have to find a specific example on-line, an exact road number, then e-mail Ryan Kunkle at Lionel the link to the exact CN boxcar.

There are many variations in the CN paint schemes.

This is a link to a photo of a Grand Trunk Western 8-door High-Cube 86' box car built by Pullman-Standard in 1967.

This is a GTW 86' boxcar that had been repainted in the 1980's.

rr-fallenflags.org and rrpicturearchives.net should have more photos.

I have the BNSF GP30s from the 2021 Vol I catalog, but I would like to see a re-release of the GP30s in the road names reflective of the railroads that originally purchased them, without any patched units this time around.  My personal preferences would be CB&Q and D&RGW, and high-hooded Southern and N&W--plenty of other road names to choose from.

I feel like my constant suggestion of "Lionchief Class J" get boring so how about some of those 1615/1656 style 0-4-0s with Lionchief available outside of a train set? I feel like they'd fit right in with the 0-8-0s, 4-4-2s, and RS-3s as cheaper, "beginner focused" locomotives. I'd imagine a few people who just want a cheap switcher might also find them useful too, and plenty of railroads had 0-4-0s so they could probably slap any name on it and it'd be at least somewhat realistic.
