Patrick, that's great looking stake body truck, did you paint/detail it yourself ?

Since Switcher Saturday is dedicated to MTH this week I'll post these here. The first one I took somewhere in Illinois last week. I was traveling back from down south saw it and pulled over for a quick picture. The second ones are Burlington Junctions parked for the night. I took these on my way home from work last night so it was dark.
You know Larry, your layout isn't to shabby either! LOL I would have to say its one of the best I have seen posted here! Every time I see it I just drool! LOL

@trestleking: Thanks so much! I bought the stake body truck in the Orange Hall at York from Die Cast Direct. I weathered the bed of the truck, however, other than that I did no customization.

Dave. Nice pics. I’ve seen those Burlington’s hundreds of times but I was always on Railroad Property and could never get a pic of them. They spotted grain cars in Valley Park Missouri.

This pair is actually in my home town in Montgomery Illinois, They work about a dozen businesses on a couple miles of track and the BNSF picks up the cars. I wish I knew where I was when I saw the PLRX units, They were somewhere between Missouri and here, I'll look it up some time it was all roadside so an easy place for photos.

Thanks Dave. I’m sure these are not the same ones but you never know. Do you mind I asked where you live in Illinois?

Montgomery right off of Route 30. Burlington junction works a yard at Webster and Route 25 and the businesses up Accutt Rd. Lots of viewing area but you can't get as close as you could a few years back,.
