Anyone get any decent train items for Christmas?

I got an AA set of Lionel scale Western Pacific F3's from 2004.  I also purchased a B unit and an Atlas WP bay window caboose to go with them

Recieved a set of Lionel Santa Fe aluminum passenger cars from around 2003. a gift from my brother. 

I received a pretty decent mth subway car on a flat car. I love it.

My Son received this.  It been running since 8am.  I think I have every station stop memorized.

 

 

My Daughter received this to add to her Aquarium car collection.

 

 

Dad got Town Houses and Trees

 

I got three great items: 

1. A post war Auto loader car; 

2. A Lionel 1776 Short Set (Seaboard Coast Line Bicentennial loco with caboose and Connecticut car - I was on that train when I was 16); 

3. An Atlantic Coast Line hopper (purchased from an OGR forumer and yet to be delivered).

 

Can't wait to run them all. Merry Christmas! 

I received a copy of Listen for the Whistle.

Haven't taken time to watch it yet but I am sure it's going to be great.

Finally found a GGD 48 Broadway set A and B!!!!!!!!! I promise Santa to never-ever set on the fence again. Thanks 3rd Rail. Merry Christmas Too All!!!!   ESPECIALLY Scott and Shani!!!

I got a couple of Weaver freight cars and my first Atlas Trainman car - a BN PS-2 covered hopper - love it ! Now my SD40 will have some appropriately sized cars to pull .

Polar Express, along with the Lionel 2014 Christmas boxcar.

nope...skunked again! but both the girls are here, about to have family dinner...all is well.

Much to my surprise while visiting my folks......Dad handed me a gift......The B&O railroad in West Virginia book!!!  My only train related gift this year.

It's great too as my great grandfathers only job he had was with the B&O in WV.....make for good reading!!!

 

 

****UPDATE......sat down and skimmed through the book tonight.......on page 62

at the bottom of the page.....the loco great grandpa says he spent the most ime in....2-8-0 #1212.......WOW....really makes this book special!

We bought my 5 year old an MTH RTR SD70 Norfolk Southern set. We added in a 2014 Lionel Christmas boxcar just so we would remember what year we bought him the set. He was beside himself.  After we set it up my wife caught this picture. I think he likes it!

Yes. My brother-in-law had me, in the family grab bag. He got his father to build me a 5 shelf display case. I am very happy

Nope. My wife and I received adult beverages, plus the two West-highland Terriers received toys. Couldn't have asked for a better, nice quiet Christmas morning. We had our local police officer over for "Christmas Lunch", talked to the kids & grandkids via. FaceTime, and took the two dogs for a nice walk prior to sunset.

 

Maybe I'll run trains tomorrow.

my item was still in the post office possession ,it was shipped from Illinois,i will finally receive it 12/27 2014 the item is an lgb german electric locomotive.this doesn't count but I layed away a mth o scale big boy .I want pick that up until January.

3 miller engineering sings. Pensacola beach, maxwell house (jacksonville for me), and the drive in sign (welfleet driv-in on cape cod for me). Plus the adapter and converter. Very happy. 

 

I really appreciate the fallen flag railroads that had trackage through Wisconsin.  My mom found the Milwaukee Road engine shed during visit to Menard's.  She remembered me talking about it when it came out last month.  Its a really thoughtful gift, and this was very unexpected.  I thought those were all gone.  According to her, the only one on the shelf.  Thanks Mom!   and Merry Christmas to all of you.   .........Robbie

I didn't technically get anything for Christmas. Two DVDs I was going to buy in October got snatched up by my wife at the store and she declared, "These are for Christmas," so I didn't see them for over 2 months.

She got a new monitor for the computer and declared it was so I "could edit photos better" although she was the person griping about our old monitor, not me.

That was it. My parents sent me a P-51 Mustang fighter plane clock and a check, which will probably go to train stuff...

Don't cry for me, Argentina, because I got my Christmas present early! In October, I got to go to Kennedy Space Center with 2 good pals for 3 days, then to Space Camp for 4 days after that at Huntsville. Best week-long space program trip EVER! And yes, plenty of NASA swag came with that.

Kennedy Space Center is a great gift. I went down one time to watch a shuttle launch-it was spectacular.

I made out great this year! A ps-2 conversion kit, some micro mark rollers, a crane car and a monopoly hopper. The best though was that my son was very happy to get an add on car for his Polar Express.

Weaver Western Maryland RS-3.  I bought it off the bay, when it arrived I handed it to my wife without opening it and said "here, wrap this up for me for Christmas"
