Unfortunately, Lee, I'm currently in RI, all my paints are in CT.  If you go to a big box store that has a good selection, you'll see the paint.  I bought three cans in Lowes. It only comes in the large 25% more cans... it is called [Italian Olive]..

Ted, it's not good for a man to be separated from his paint...hope you have a reunion soon...

Great scene, Ted...makes me want to walk into the grocery and grab a morning coffee...great paint job and weathering on the Chevy pick-up!  I can see why the garage is a favorite of Curt's...

I'm in with Paul and Joel with that scene Ted. 👍

Thanks very much Joel'.. I love scratch building'.  The grocery is a version of an actual model on the market.  Completely scratched.  The garage is a kit that I modified and bashed.  A tribute to Curt Henion, a former contributor to this thread, that left the forum to a disagreement with management'..  He will be missed'...

Ted, I wrote a post complimenting those two buildings, and the background trees and brush looking so good, but I seem to have forgotten to hit the “Post Reply” button! (Okay, maybe it’s because I’m 74, or, better, my puppy interrupted me and wanted to take a walk. Yeah! That’s it!)

JDFonz, Great Restore!

John, I say do one to give it a try and if you like it do the other one!

Richie C. Wonderful paint job and tribute to your brother!

Ted thats a great scene at Tobias Garage! Good place to put it next the the grocery store with cold beer! LOL

Paul, Love the BeeCroft dealership scene! Just wondering if your able to change out the sign? Say maybe Dodge, Ford as you have a great selection of different makes.

Nothing new from me guys Sorry. But I still love to come and see what you are all doing! Maybe when my layout redo gets further along.

This came in the mail yesterday... really sweet!!! I fondly remember riding buses like this in the late 60’s - early 70’s (pre-air conditioning... ugh) especially on the B41 along Flatbush Ave. to go shopping in downtown Brooklyn.

My only excuse is Kevin made me do it

Te he he he, it's all Kevin's fault, te he he he!

Growing up in the Bronx my favorite was also the White Plains Road bus.

I'm inspired by you guys - I just picked these two up to restore

OR, should I keep them as is, with their "patina", and put 'em on a shelf instead of the layout?

That's a tough call, but they both have a fair amount of color left, especially the green truck, and they do not look to have any substantial metal damage, so in the vein of "they're only original once", I'd vote to display them as is.
