The RS-3 is a MTH Rail-King, box car is Lionel.

I also bought these two cars, and a WM TOFC with trailer, recently from forum member @cpowell. Not shown is a LIRR water tanker.

Thanks Mark- I've been on the fence about a RS-3 for a while because its designed for 031 minimum. Your old GP-7 makes it around OK so I don't see why the RS-3 wouldn't. Besides- I like RS-3's

Bought another REA  piggyback I couldn’t resist this one it’s one I don’t have. I’m just about to get a piggyback train ready to go

Got myself a ZW yesterday. I've been using my grandfather's RW since 2012 and about a year ago I picked up a backup. Should have plenty of power now!!!

This junk shop treasure will go into my 2019 Christmas train layout---somewhere. 

I got two Lionel autoracks from a fellow forum member, but these are so long that I need to build more train shelves in my room. I guess this is a good problem to have.

Nice, Logan, but one minor correction - having to build more shelves is not a “problem”... it is an opportunity to expand your empire!!!

Received my four different sizes, 30' each of shrink tubing. This should last me forever.

I bought a grey 225E the other week. Now I'm working on maybe getting a 226E! I've always wanted the grandfather of the Lionel berkshire. 

This arrived today.

I Know , I'm a postwar guy but this  Lionel Western Maryland Alco Pa  that I just purchased is going to look so good on my Maryland Eastern Shore Depot layout when I finish . I'm at the shelf building stage, even this is fun !

Got this today. I’m thinking about a 1920s-30s layout in my new train room these looked pretty neat to build for that era. I’m sure they still ran them

Lee, those would make a dynamite addition to anybody's antique car collection, as well as sharpening up any train lay-out.

Big Jim, what is the content of the book? Is it like an engineering manual or a history lesson of sorts?

Got a NYC Sunset/3rd Rail Mercury. Set it up and at first it did not run but I had lights, then I unplugged the tether and plugged it in again and it ran perfectly, now I am  back to square one. Tried messing with the tether no help, lights nothing else. I know it works I just have to do some investigative work. I have it set up on a carpet layout with FT. I know some of the problem is the FT, but not all. But its a beauty and heavy as heck!
