Where did you buy the DCS and remote?

Well, after over a year, these cars arrived at my Evansville dealer, ABC HOBBYCRAFT, and he had a deal on a NYC Lionel passenger set, old, but new in the box. This will go behind my newly rebuilt K-Line J1e NYC Hudson, made to run in hi style by The Harmon Shops, Harmonyards.... Great finds everyone, Happy Railroading Everyone

The TIU is new old stock revision L, that was listed on (gulp) eBay at a ridiculously low buy it now price.  I just happened to be online when it was listed, so I jumped at it.

The remote is from Ray’s Electric Trainworks. He’s in Kansas City, and a great guy...comprehensive and extensive DCS tips & tricks content on his website as well. The remote is the new 1038 version, and he has them in stock at list price.

Picked up a Lionel 1665 switch engine with a 2403b bell ringing tender at an antique mall for the nice price of $75. I think this was available only in 1946.

Finally got my MTH Premier Canadian Pacific SD70ACE - #7021. I have been wanting one of these since I first saw them in the MTH catalog. I hope to pick up another one soon.

Don’t want to derail this thread, but I’m having fun with the guessing game!

Yes, it’s 2-rail and very large. I can’t say for certain that the figures don’t have a plastic part or two, but they’re all primarily carbon-based...

It also does not have a 4 wheel lead truck, and it has more than 6 drivers...

A harder-to-find road name ...  Ontario Northland  (hopper is from Weaver)

and a D&H PS-5 gondola (from Lionel) - love the detailing on it.

I bought this 1937 Marx Sky Flyer recently in an online auction. I think it fits in quite well with my wide gauge Flyers. It isn't actually a train accessory but it will be on my layout.

Bought a mix of pre and post-war stuff from a friend yesterday. The 2383 set looks good, but the passenger cars are missing some stripes. The 1664 looks great, but the tender has a little rust on the wheels. Haven’t tested anything yet, but hope to this weekend.
