Yes...I know it might be just a little bit premature...but had to have it...MTH Railking Operating “CHRISTMAS” Hand Car from Mr. Muffin’s! 🚂🎄😉😺
Did someone post a Scranton trolley earlier? I tried to get back to it but; can’t find it.
Thanks
Bob;
The LCCA just announced one for members - the convention this year was supposed to be in Scranton.

Thanks Paul, my daughter and her family are in Scranton. I thought it would be a nice addition to my layout.

Very good looking, but! Southern's Train Masters had a lower pilot deck for crew safety.

Yep, I hit there, Hobby Smith and Tammies. Bought something at each.

I've been looking for these MTH Frisco E8's (20-20855-1 & 20-20856-4) for a couple years. Finally found them at a dealer NOS with a full passenger consist (5-car set: 20-65296, 2-car: 20-66296, and RPO: 20-68296).

Got an MTH Q Type El Subway Set delivered this week. Upgraded the battery and added passengers, not as fancy as the other subway sets but its still nice.

I bought four Lionel Vision Line reefers sets. Two Union Pacific PFE Reefer sets (six cars total) and two Santa Fe Reefer sets (six cars total) and a Lionel Silver PFE Reefer set (three cars) with an additional Lionel Silver PFE Reefer, a Lionel Union Pacific Wide Vision Cupola Caboose with camera and a Lionel Legacy Command Control system.
We went a little crazy this month on a buying spree. My son picked up the CNW /CMO 4-6-0 ten wheeler from a club member. Has TMCC but the smoke unit is a goner, needs replacement.
Then I bought this Santa Fe burro crane. I have an idea to take the cab and boom off , mount them on a 3 inch cylinder & turn it into a pillar crane for my coil yard.
I don't know, she runs great , just a bit sparky and you can hear the gears really grind. Maybe a cleaning and lube job will keep her together.
Then for no reason my son bought for me this NKP 2-6-6-2 mallet. He said "just because ". I have a great family.
Hope you like them.

Wow, Bill! You brought up your son right! 😉
I finally got a Lionel #192 Control Tower! It just arrived today and looks better than the pictures showed. Needs some cleaning, but that is normal. The only issue is the anemometer. The 3 nubs that stick out are broken off, but that and the weathervane are original. The roof does not have a bulb burn/bulge in it. No broken/cracked railings or missing parts. Everything looks really good. For 125.00 I am very happy!
I also found a #148 dwarf signal to add to my collection. That should be here tomorrow.
I will post pics once I have them cleaned up.
Next will be a #115 City Station. Hopefully in the next few months.
I've been adding to my train collection over the last year or so. I started years ago with a TMCC Pennsy S-1. Over the last year I have been lucky online to locate the Lionel TMCC versions of the Dreyfuss Hudson, Pioneer Zephyr and UP M10000 at good prices. Last week my largest purchase to date arrived:
Twice as much as any of my other purchases, but worth every penny. I like these older TMCC locomotives. They are far more budget friendly for me and do everything I need them to do. Now all I need is a layout...

I agree, I don’t have a problem with TMCC engines. I hope you get a layout to run them on soon.
