Came on FedEx this morning     Ages ago I had Lionel's aluminum set but sold them when the lettering began peeling off .

( Judy was out trimming bushes this morning....she talked to the FedEx driver and he told her he inherited a large display of trains from a relative in Philly and wants to be able to do a layout.      JUDY told him that he had to get involved with the O GAUGE RAILROADING ON LINE FORUM on the web.   They had a good discussion I heard. )

That’s a sharp looking consist Dallas. Who is the manufacturer and how long are the cars?

Does the diverging track slope downhill?

Judy does think I gots good smarts but...............

These cars are plastic though Joe. 🤔      ( maybe good though .....doesn't appear that the lettering will peel of of these. )

The diverging track drops 3 inches in the 58 inch run down to the engine yard.

The body of the car itself is 15 inches and 16 inches from diaphragms end to end  and from coupler end to end they are 16 1/2 inches .

For Long Island RR fans, here's a new pickup from Trainland in Lynbrook, Long Island.  One car with a orange on one side and blue on the other side;

Dallas if I mistook them for aluminium they must be nice enough

I don't believe my Lionel and Rail King 027 streamliners will make a good consist for my recently acquired Lionel 785 Hudson so I'm trying to put together some HW passenger cars that'll work on my radially challenged layout and still look good behind 785.  Here's the start.

Water is a necessity to brew beer so I got this water tower to go along with the Brew House and Clydesdale Stable

I don't know Bob ............seeing all of your purchases over time seems like a little slow down now and then might give you some relief from Apples55itis.

I does worry me though that I don't see any ' PENNSYLVANIA ' signage in the photo.

I found these from a forum search on yard lights. I’ll be removing the round base from the battery compartment like I saw in the picture once I decide on placement. I may need a couple more depending on its lighting capability. I’m going to run an independent toggle switch from the 4.5vdc power supply used for the vehicles.

The HW dinning car is a Lionel product Rippling Stream no. 6089, not sure of the Lionel Item number.  The water tower is a MTH product, 30-90210.  Both off eBay.

The product number for the HW dinning car is 6-16089.  Now why couldn't I figure that out on my own?

@coach joe -neat acquisitions, but who made the Budweiser brew house, that is really cool.  @Dallas Joseph- those are really neat looking passenger cars. They would be the right size for my layout, I have the Lionel aluminum cars but they are strictly for collecting (gift of a boyhood set from my brother in law)as they are too long to go around my layout. @pennsyfan- As a registered "tank-a-holic" I would say...don't despair that beautiful 3D from MPC in 1980. @Genemed- those are neat lights you are going to have one "lit" yard @FrankRazz- cool LI caboose, different colors comin and goin!

Don the Brew House is a Dep't 56 issue from years ago.  I believe I found mine in a Christmas store while on vacation.  Even though it was long "Retired" it had a sale price on it so the rest is history.

Another possibility is the aluminum cars Lionel made in the early 80’s - I still see them for sale every so often. If I remember correctly, they are 15” cars. Depending on the size of your eventual layout, you could make do with three or four of them (they were sold individually, not as a set). My set is on the top shelf…

They are nice Joe.     They aren't  " plated "  like my RK Santa Fe streamliners though.
