IMG_0686IMG_0687IMG_0688IMG_0689Had a friend pass away last fall and we are liquidating his extensive inventory. I was recruited as mechanic and have good luck getting the rolling stock rolling but this cab forward has me puzzled. Its basically two 1950s engines hooked together with a vertical and horizontal motor and drum type reverse unit. Got the chassis working after some wiring repairs but the cab just sits on top of the smoke unit with a tube that connects the smoker to the stacks in the front of the cab with no screws connecting cab and chassis. The chassis runs fine in forward and reverse but when I put the cab on the chassis the cow catcher sits so low it contacts the middle rail on curves and  shorts the motors. Comes with a matching chug and whistle tender if any one is interested. Cab number is 4469.

Well it does help if a person puts the cab on the chassis the right way around! Got it going.
