Eng>doppler key mutes all sounds quickly whether MU or single engines and so far maintains member engine settings unlike eng snd key which will sometimes change eng volume settings.

Eng all>doppler also mutes all. I run 11 ps2 and ps3 diesel electrics at once mostly MU configuration.

   Anybody else tried this?

Good morning

Yes it does mute, that is the one time Doppler button. Depending on your speed and distance from you, the engine will get quiet then louder as it gets closer to you. Blow the horn as it goes buy and the doppler effect is really good. Then push the button again and sounds are normal. You should be able to hear the Doppler effect without blowing the horn but usually train noise is to loud. I will have to try it locomotive only.

Yes one time loop and doppler kicks in and then silence.

With all locos idling >doppler and complete mute [ handy if the phone rings or between commercials on tv]and as stated earlier eng sound button sometimes will leave lead eng sounds going in one of my MU's. It did not matter if eng was in the active or inactive list.
