DCS engine doesn't get along with the rest of the engines

I'm having the same issue, PS3 engines stop responding when PS2 engines are running on the same track. I've had this issue with as little as two engines on the same track. My controller is running 4.2. not sure what my TIU is. Updating software is difficult since i'm on a mac and don't have a PC.

Be aware that some, but not all, TMCC or Legacy engines can cause DCS signal degradation. If it's sever enough, this can cause a errors or a loss of DCS's ability to even find the engine.

Also, as Marty alludes to above, too much of a demand for power can cause DCS engines to operate poorly or not at all, and also to miss the watchdog signal and come up in conventional mode assign as power is applied.

Crocodiesel, you must have some other problem.  I regularly run PS2 & PS3 together, and when I power up the layout, I may have 20 or so locos on tracks that are immediately powered.  But I use all 14-gauge wire.
